He presently uses over 150 species of hardwood, both domestic and exotic. Lloyd Specializing in non-functional vases, Lloyd works full-time exhibiting his work in juried fine art shows across the country. Although his larger intricately detailed vases have received hundreds of awards, he finds his best seller is a vase simple and graceful in design, composed of numerous exotic woods.
