Edward F. Barbini was
born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He served in the US Army for 2 years.
After his discharge he attended Pratt Institute, majored in Illustration and
later studied Advertising Design at The School of Visual Arts in NYC. Ed
studied watercolor painting at Pratt Institute with Edgar Whitney and oil
painting with expressionist painter Castelon.

Ed
has exhibited at various art shows in and around New york City and was a
principal in a NY Advertising Agency in the late 60's. He served as an award
winning art director/creative director for over 25 years. Ed founded a second
Ad Agency on Long Island in the 80's.
After retiring from the ad business in 1999 Ed
relocated to South Florida, where he once again pursued his passion for
painting. He prefers the watercolor medium to all others. |
