"On A Rocket Ride to Fame" At first
glance he seems too young and unassuming but fifteen year old artist, Dylan
Scott Pierce has begun to expand his area of influence and recognition in the
art world. Dylan is making a name for himself. You will likely hear these words
spoken of him; " Dylan is going to be famous one day (if he's not already)" and
"He is very gifted", " a child prodigy." He has a tremendous understanding of
color and composition."
Dylan is a young man who, at a young age, has been recognized
worldwide for his artistic talent. This, combined with an inner desire, focus
and love for life, truly define him as a prodigy. With the tenderness of a
child and a vision of an adult he creates not only life's form, but also it's
soul. The stare in "The Lioness" and the peaceful tranquility captured in the
"Watering Hole" are perfect examples. |

| "My
favorite medium is watercolor. I have chosen the subject of wildlife because I
love animals, they are beautiful and are very expressive which makes them
interesting to paint. I think that there are a lot of people that share my love
for animals and this makes it a popular subject that will not go out of demand.
In my latest work I have become more detailed and plan to go towards a more
realistic look. Some of my favorite artists are; Terry Isaac, Robert Bateman,
John Serrey Lester, Leslie Harrison, and Carl Brenders, although there are many
more. I photograph my own subjects for reference. I am inspired to paint
because of my love for animals and nature, I also enjoy the challenge I get by
out doing myself each time. I feel that I have so many things in my mind that I
want to paint and not enough time to do it all. I know that I will paint for
the rest of my life, it is my passion. I have loved to express myself on paper
from the time I was two years old. It is a God given talent that I will never
give up. My dreams for the near future is to have a publisher to publish and
distribute my work, this will allow me more time to paint which is what I love
to do most. My dream art trip is to go to Africa to see and paint the wildlife
in their natural habitat. " ~ Dylan Scott Pierce ~ |
