Christine has lived most of her life
in South Florida and considers herself a native. Her love of Florida's
landscape has been a major source of inspiration to her, fueling her passion
for drawing and painting.

She has spent much of her time exploring the lush,
tropical landscape and learning firsthand about Nature's cycles of growth and
entropy, and, most importantly, learning to perceive the numinous in everything
living. For Christine, the process of creating art is a means to replenish her
spirit and to commune with nature.
|
| In order to examine her subject in
greater depth, Christine incorporates photography in her creative process. By
viewing through various lenses, she isolates areas to emphasize relationships
and patterns of growth and decay, punctuated by abstract patterns of light and
shadow. The resulting images are rich in form, texture and relationship, imbued
with the mystery of the underlying intelligence that governs all living things.
